Also spelt as Pilsener and named after the Czech city Plezn, Pilsner was first
brewed by Josef Groll in 1842. This Pilsner has a crisp, clean, easy drinking profile, is straw blonde in colour and unpasteurised.
Brewed in the German style its balanced taste has a light biscuit malt flavour from the traditional German malts. The addition of Perle and Magnum hops give it a flavoursome, floral hop profile with a low bitter finish. Wheat gives added depth to the body and a slightly sweet finish.
Great with almost everything, this beer is brewed this with our friends at the Great Yorkshire Brewery.
